Today I wanted to share with you a lovely
morning watching the waves break like crazy
against the rocky cliffs!

This afternoon, I went to the beach and had fun swimming
in the big breaking waves. I have to say, it was a little scary
as the waves were really huge and seemed to be sucking
me underwater (lol!).

I saw a cool seagull on a driftwood branch (along the shore) and it
was fun to capture him on video.

My wife and I had a lot of fun watching the surfers
"crash n burn" in the big waves. There were a few
that were able to make it through.

Then we went up to a mountain town called Julian and had fun
watching the sunset and having a picnic (from the super
fresh produce we bought at the store).

Our dog really loved the trip too and had so much fun
sticking his head out the window (lol!)

The hotel pool was a blast along with the jacuzzi! You can
see how beautiful the water was during our morning swim,
and then again in the afternoon and evening.

Staying at our hotel was really great. It was
exciting to get away from home, and be somewhere
else and not have to wash the dishes!

The pool water was really cool and refreshing!
They even had a ping-pong table too.
